Alkatraz is the core magic plugin on this server. Their wiki contains all the information on the plugin. However, know that certain aspects have been changed to fit the server.

Spells and magical knowledge come from killing wild casting mobs. Spawner and farm mobs give nothing.

Each mob casts its own element. Six mobs hold the strongest spell of each element.

Fishing is a secondary source. See Money and Fishing.

Drop rates and knowledge scale with the moon. See The Sky.

A spellbook is bound to the player who earned it and cannot be traded. It becomes a Faded Spellbook if it:

• is dropped
• is placed in any container, including your own
• is taken by a hopper or another player
• is placed in an item frame
• is on you when you die

8 Faded Spellbooks + 1 Magic Stone = one random spellbook. The result is not chosen.

Dropped by casting mobs; Looting increases the rate. Required by every magic equipment recipe at every tier.

Your Circle is your magic rank. Raising it requires accumulated knowledge, spell mastery, and research.

Casting a spell raises mastery of that spell and does not require a target. Mastery alone does not raise your Circle.
